This cover was not born to be a production under the name of Denis Potenza. It did not include an instrumental explosion or an epic finale. It was born from an artistic need of Federico, a dedication for his wife and initially did not differ too much from the original version. However, during the Voice Recording phase, I was deeply moved. Federico’s performance was extremely profound and communicative, it seemed that the whole studio vibrated at the sound of his voice. I realized that this piece deserved an ambitious production. Then everything sort of fell into place.
